Our Programs:
Fresh Start operates three separate programs, each serving the Las Vegas Community in different ways. Our Young People on the Move program provides transitional housing for at risk youth between the ages of 15 ½ to 23 years old. Our facilities are not CO-ED. Youth are placed in a residential setting based on age and individual needs. The goal of this program is to empower our clients and equip them with the necessary tools to become independent adults. This program balances therapeutic intervention, vocational and educational development, and life skills training.

The Transitional Living Program, (“Young People on the Move”)
The “Young People on the Move” program is for young adults who are at risk either aging out of the foster care system, homeless, coming out of the juvenile justice system, pregnant and/or parenting etc… We are dedicated to helping these young people who are transitioning from their current situation into becoming successful, independent adults.

Community Outreach Program
Our Community Outreach program promotes the health and well-being of children, adolescents and their families within the Las Vegas community.  The program provides structured as well as nontraditional therapeutic groups in various settings in the schools and community.  Services include basic living skills training and psychosocial rehabilitation.

These services include a wide variety of services including individual, group, and recreation therapy. Topics covered in groups will include anger management, life skills training, building healthy relationships, movement therapy, and journaling.

You Can Do It Early Intervention Program for kids ages 3 and older who are at risk or have special needs. The scope of our program includes the child’s family.  Our services are offered in a nurturing environment by a group of well trained professionals who work on the areas of cognition (thinking skills), speech/language, motor skills, self-help skills, and social-emotional development.
