"Young People on the Move" program is for young women between the ages of 17 1/2-21 years of age who are aging out of the Nevada foster care system. Our goal is to help young women who are transitioning out of care to become productive, contributing members of our communities.


To qualify for this program you must be an aging out foster youth between the ages of 17 1/2-21 years old. Upon admittance into the program, each client will be assessed to determine placement, and individual needs from which a treatment plan will be developed to address those needs. Lengths of stay vary 6-12 months. Each client must be able to follow directions, and be motivated to change their lives!

• Life Skills Trainings to include topics on education/vocational planning & development, job readiness skills, money management, nutrition, etc…

• Computer/Resource Center

• Individual & Group Therapy

• Supportive Community Environment

• Basic Living Skills & Psychosocial Rehabilitation
